SAND MARTIN AT NEST
A further visit to the Sand Martin colony produced some nice images of the youngsters coming back and siting at their nest holes. I was lucky enough to see a Hobby taking a Sand Martin in the air, only the second time I have seen a Hobby make a kill. The first time was from our back garden when one took a young swallow, unfortunately no pictures either time!.
