LATEST IMAGES - FINLAND (again)
I went to Southern Finland with a friend (without Helen) to try and photograph White Taile Sea Eagles. As with the Golden Eagles the month previously this wasn't too succesful. However after we heard about the Great Grey Owls near Oulu in northern Finland we had to go and try to capture these lovely birds on film. Many English photographers also made the trip this year so you can compare my images with ones you may have already seen.
GREAT GREY OWL
This Owl was perched on the edge of a playing field in Oulu. The hardest part in taking this picture was traipsing through the 4 ft deep snow with all the camera gear.
