LATEST IMAGES - JULY1
The numbers of House Martins in our area have been on the increase for the last few years but this year was the first time we had had a nest on our house. Once the adults were feeding young we erected a scaffold to the side of the nest so we could get nearly on its level. The adults were even going in to the nest when were putting up the layers. Eventually we could perch on the top without a hide and take pictures of the adults and the chicks although as the nest was right up in the apex of the eves we had to use high speed flash.
