LATEST IMAGES - APRIL1

We hadn't visited one of the Forest of Deans birding hot spots for a while so over the Easter break we spent the early mornings there before the crowds arrived. The main birding interest are the Mandarin Ducks and they provided us with plenty of opportunities to improve our flight shot technique. Most of the Mandarins were male as we assume many of the females will already be sitting on eggs somewhere in the Forest.
