LATEST IMAGES - DECEMBER1

A patch of Salt Marsh at Aust between the two Severn Bridges held up to 5 Short Eared Owls from early November. This was a well known spot and many birders and photographers would appear early to late afternoon to get a good view of the Owls. They tended to keep away from the road bordering the marsh but occasionally would come close enough for photography. Over a number of days, I accumulated some reasonable shots, however every time the Owls came close to the road, the light was failing necessitating high ISO settings.
