During our recent visit to Bosque del Apache we had one day with very heavy snow that meant we couldn't get to the reserve. After a morning editing images it stopped snowing enough to allow us to get to a pool in Socorro with very tame american wigeon. After an hour or two of dull light the sun came out just before it set giving us about half an hour of lovely golden light.
