After our initial disappointment at the lower number of birds on the tundra around Churchill Canada we worked hard finding and photographing those we could find. Very early starts and late finishes meant very little sleep and even though there are very few roads around Churchill we still seemed to use a lot of gas/petrol which was nearly as expensive as in the UK.
