Surprisingly perhaps Iceland Gulls do not breed in Iceland so my latest trip there in March gave me lots of opportunity to photograph this lovely white gull. In winter Purple sandpipers are the commonest wader in Iceland, they are also very confiding making them easy to get close too and photograph.
