Finland is always worth a visit for wildlife photography what ever the season. The end of April is leking time for Black Grouse and Capercaillie and I was hoping to get lucky with both species on my visit to Lassi Rautiainen's lovely set up near Kuusamo. The Black Grouse were very elusive moving both sites and position each morning. This meant while I took distant but atmospheric shots, I didn't manage the close up shots I would have liked.
