The two mornings we had at a Black Grouse lek was a great experience even though we were up at 3.00am. It would require many mornings and the use of many differing focal length lenses to cover all photographic opportunities but I did enjoy using the 500mm lens and trying to capture the Grouse as they leapt off the ground although sometimes they just called and didn't leap.
