We also came across a few Red Deer when we drove around on the Forest tracks during our time in Romania. They looked different to 'our' Red Deer, with their faces looking like a cross between Red Deer and Moose and they also looked larger. This might have been us going a bit crazy after sitting in a hide for so long staring at the Forest! The Fox was a welcome addition to the species list.
