At Bosque del Apache the sun sets behind the two crane pools by the main road and as the cranes come into roost and put their 'undercarriage' down they provide opportunities for another signature image from this reserve. Unfortunately we were not blessed with great sunsets but still had a great time trying to capture the cranes in a bit of colour before they dropped in front of the mountains.
