Snow geese coming into land are another classic image from Bosque del Apache reserve. The geese are fed either from bumped (knocked down) corn or, especially this year, with spread grain. You need a favourable wind and light so the geese are coming into land either side on or even better straight towards you. The first couple of days we were lucky but then the wind changed and the geese fed further away from the roads. If you do get good conditions make the most of them!
