LATEST IMAGES - BOSQUE7

Large numbers of snow geese winter at Bosque del Apache and feed in the fields on the reserve. When the corn is knocked down for them to feed it is a sight to see so many birds in such a small area; they are constantly calling to each other and the noise is  spectacular as is the sheer number. Another classic image is of the geese blasting off on mass from the fields but I felt I didn't manage an image which captured this as well as I had hoped.
