Driving along a small track near Churchill Manitoba we came across a Merlin in the top of a conifer. It was being mobbed by a couple of Bonaparte's Gull but as it didn't fly away we assumed it had a nest nearby. We spent a little time taking flight shots of the Merlin as it flew around the tree tops.
