O ne of the highlights of out recent trip to Churchill Manitoba was a zodiac ride on the Churchill River to get close to Beluga Whales. We had never seen these before and it is always a treat to see a new species. During the trip the whales seemed to become more curious about the boat and came closer and closer until they were going right under the boat. It would have been better photographically if they had put their heads out of the water but the experience was still great.
