One of the main reasons for visiting the Ardnamurchan peninsula was to see a Pine Marten as neither of us had ever seen one before. We knew that Pine Martens had been seen around the cottage we stayed at but were delighted to find that not only were they visiting the cottage but they were coming during daylight. Helen spent many hours in the car, using it as a hide, waiting for them to come down for the jam sandwiches and peanuts we put out for them. I wasn't too well during our stay but did manage some images through the cottage window.
