There was never a shortage of subjects to shoot during our recent trip to Midway Atoll and the mainly grey skies meant we could shoot all day without the problem of burning out the white of the Laysan albatrosses. The chicks were reasonably big and seemed quite content to sit and wait for their parents to return every few days with squid for them. The younger Laysan albatrosses spent much of their time displaying to each other.
