Monfrague National Park in Extremadura is a great place to see birds of prey and especially Griffon Vultures. From both the Salto del Gitano and Portilla del Tietar viewpoints it is easy to see Griffon vultures flying around and, when I went in December, beginning to collect nesting material. Most of the flight shots needed a long lens but occasionally they would come close enough for a medium telephoto shot. I did also see Black Vultures but not close enough for a good image
