August saw me back in Iceland with Daniel Bergmann for his Highland Camping trip. This was my first time away from Route 1 and into hidden Iceland. Camping was certainly an experience with high winds and driving rain on our first night under canvas. The weather improved after that but it was still very cold even in August. Landmannalaugar was a perfect place to start with a lovely sunset overlooking the coloured hills.
