Burghead Harbour is usually good for winter ducks but during our March visit to Scotland we only saw one female long-tailed duck. The lesser black-backed gull was robbing eider ducks of their catch when they came to the surface. Red Grouse are always nice to see and photograph, especially when you can see their white feet..
