As the wind was so strong for much of the time during our March visit to Scotland we ended up using the car as a mobile hide. The brown hare sat still long enough for us to take some images from the car, the hardest part was actually seeing it sat under a tree. That is when it is a big advantage with two people in the car, one driving and the other looking. The seals were again taken from the car at a well known hauling out spot on the north Scottish coat near Elgin, they were well used to people and cars in the overlooking car park.
